How to interpret the record

The material status update is the regulator’s operating listing, not the mere arrival of 44 docket rows in the collector. The September table gives an August 3 operational date for Socrates South. Retain both dates: the milestone and the date of the regulator’s snapshot.

The 200 MW figure is a gas-generation capacity boundary. The regulator explains that map nameplate capacity reflects approved units and amendments. Its operating classification does not mean that all 200 MW are currently delivered to computing, and storage is excluded from the gas rating.

The October 26 filing may contain useful operating or complaint information. Its title alone cannot establish whether there were complaints, whether conditions were met or whether equipment changed. Those findings remain pending source-file review.

What remains unknown?

  • Current metered output, delivered IT power and unit-by-unit availability
  • Equipment OEM, models and installed counts established by accessible reviewed source files
  • Battery rating and duration
  • Contents and outcome of the October 26 Q3 compliance report

What to check next

  1. Read the public October Q3 PDF when DIS file access is available.
  2. Reconcile any commissioning notices against the regulator’s August 3 operating date.
  3. Seek equipment-specific permits and operating records before adding a turbine cohort to the reviewed fleet.

A documented project participant or equipment model is a research lead, not proof that procurement is open. Scope a monitoring pilot around the specific records and decisions you need.
