Two supported project findings

Socrates South: listed operational

OPSB’s September 17, 2026 status table lists 200 MW of gas generation with an August 3, 2026 operational date. This is a regulator status milestone; it is not a measurement of current delivered power.

STY: 250 MW gas; under construction

The same table gives June 25, 2026 as the approval date and marks STY under construction. The June 26 regulator announcement separately describes 116 MW of battery storage. An older uncited 296 MW turbine figure remains unresolved; no physical 46 MW reduction is established.

What the October notices do not establish

The official docket describes a Condition 12 (2026 Q3) notice for Socrates South and a Condition 15 (2026 Q3) notice for STY. Without the PDFs, BTW cannot establish complaint counts, compliance outcomes, equipment changes or commissioning from these titles. A quarterly filing alone does not change a project’s physical status.

The rest of the batch includes earlier applications, technical appendices, responses and procedural filings. Their descriptions identify review subjects; their contents may contain material detail. They are retained as pending, rather than classified as having no material change.
